“I want to touch on their Toasted After Dark offering. My husband and I recently hosted my 40th birthday party there as their first Toasted After Dark event. It was incredible! I really wanted a brunch menu, and while their offerings online showed mostly lunch/dinner offerings they worked with me to come up with the perfect brunch centered buffet. Our party of almost 40 people raved about how delicious it was! This was just the start. The staff, headed by manager Robert, cleared out an area to make a dance floor for our silent disco event. The mimosa package which came with various flavors of mimosas and house wine and I think beer was plentiful and our friendly bartender kept the drinks flowing. They bent over backwards to make it the perfect night and I couldn’t have imagined it much better than it turned out! I highly recommend them as a fun and different venue with delicious food for your next event!“

We had a fantastic experience at Ruggles Black, and a big part of that was our wonderful server, Gabriel. From the moment we sat down, he was warm, friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful.

Gabriel took the time to make thoughtful recommendations, and his suggestions for both drinks and desserts were absolutely excellent. Everything he recommended was spot on and really elevated our dining experience.

Service like this truly makes a difference, and Gabriel’s professionalism and genuine hospitality made our evening even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back and hope to be seated in his section again!“

“We had an amazing experience at Balboa! Starting with the complimentary valet, which was quick and friendly service. The entry to the restaurant was super nice and a great photo opportunity spot. Kyrah took excellent care of us during our visit, and we loved the team style service. It felt like we had a team serving us, and they are so quick and quiet that you can continue to hold conversations and visit but someone is always near if you need anything. Kyrah took special care to "refresh" our cocktail glasses when we finished about half of our drinks, and made excellent recommendations. The food was absolutely amazing. Our table tried the fried shrimp, oysters, spicy ahi tuna roll, crab cake, Post Oak ribeye with pureed potatoes, salmon with the most delicious and unique salad, and heirloom tomatoes. The cocktails were delicious, including the Gold Rush, Rum Dum, and el Guero. The restaurant vibe is romantic but fun and sophisticated and has an open kitchen concept where you can see the food being made if you care to watch. I will most definitely be back and can confidently recommend this place to anyone!“

“Whiskey Cake never fails. Once again the recommendations from our waiter Christian were absolutely wonderful. We feel like family when we are visiting from North Carolina. “Phenomenal burger. The Grim creaper was no joke but really good. Wife got the dirk figler . Both awesome burger and sandwich. Not sure if there was a miss communication with the servers we sat down and never got greater or served ended up ordering at the bar which I don’t mind if it was like that in general. “1/5/26- (Monday), I had a long day at work and decided to go to a happy hour. I searched in my area and found this restaurant. It was my first time going. I was greeted when I walked in and went to the bar. The bartender-Russell greeted me with a smile and was very pleasant. He answered all my questions and also suggested some items. I was also given a free appetizer since it was my first time there. Manager-Maegan brought it out to me. She was pleasant and had a smile on her face as well. I so enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, as well as the staff and management. She even given me a free dessert card to come back. I so recommended this location. Great people, food, drinks, and happy hour. They have a large variety as well as the drink menu.“

“Visited Lucio’s for the first time. The BYOB is a major plus only for $10 cork fee. They do have their own wine selection (pricey). The food was great. I would not say the food was amazing but it was great. Presentation of the plates is good, but nothing I would describe as amazing or spectacular. The food is a bit overprices in my opinion. You are looking at an average $45-55 an entree, with some in the $60+. Service was top notch, very attentive staff. The ambience of the restaurant is ok, I think the tables were a bit simple and not elegant IMO. There are 2 seating areas, we sat by the entrance in from of the kitchen. At first I thought how cool but I must admit that there was quite a bit of “smoke” in terms of what was being cooked such as fish etc that you could easily smell from the table and I particularly did not like that. I would definitely come back.“

“1/12/2025-This is a awesome vibe here. The ambiance is a nice bistro with some crazy art to keep you entertained but the music and lighting sets the mood. I would come back here again and again. I visited here without a reservation and was greeted when I first came in. The staff was nice friendly and attentive. Emma was awesome and recommended some dishes. The burger, half chicken, rice, and sesame butter cookie were awesome and the drinks. I had the voodoo drink. I highly recommended and you won't be disappointed.“
