We always enjoy Rudy & Paco's! We went there to celebrate our wedding anniversary and had wonderful food and service by Oliver. Andy was also super accommodating and was a pleasure to visit with. Our food was fantastic and of course we have leftovers to enjoy at least one more time. My only disappointment was that we didn't get to see Paco while we were there :-) as he is always a pleasure to see. Thank you for such a wonderful anniversary lunch.

You just can't go wrong here, and you'll be back as soon as you can. Impeccable service, interesting and delicious entrees, the best calamari I've ever had (it has grilled peppers), unusual cocktails, and even though all tables were taken, you can easily have table conversation.

We love Rudy and Pacos. Whenever we visit Galveston, this is our top choice of where to eat- along with Vargas. We met Andrew at Rudy and Pacos this visit and he totally took care of my husband and me. He went above and beyond to handle a problem that arose. Thanks Andrew for taking such great care of us. You are the best!

We dined on 4/21 and had a lovely time. The food was absolutely wonderful - crab cake, crab bisque, 8 oz filet, and lamb chops. Enjoyed the plantains at the start - a nice light treat and better than bread to start. The bread with the meal was enjoyable as well. The service was pretty good although we had to ask for our check when we were ready to leave and our waitress was talking to another table (she wasn't serving them at the time ... just in conversation). Love the ambiance and how it's not a large restaurant. Definitely will return!

Amazing as always. We have been eating here for years. When we come I. For a visit we always eat at Paco's.

My wife and I come here every year for our anniversary, we always get the Crab cake, Calamari, and for desert Quatros leches. I always get one of the specials, so the entree is different every time, but they always have amazing options. The crab cake is the best thing ever, if we could only order one thing that would be it. The Calamari is amazing, but it might ruin Calamari from anywhere else for you. The Quatros leches cake is exactly what you think, Tres leches cake plus one. It's amazing. I definitely recommend.

We have been going to R&P for many years and we always go during busy times such as Friday or Saturday night. This is the first time we have been disappointed by the service we received. All the staff seemed to be so busy and exasperated, running around frantically. Our server ratted out the specials without skipping a beat, no friendliness or personal touch or pleasantries of any kind. Fine. We waited for quite a while for the plantaines appetizer and when it didn't come for we asked the server about it. She said they must have messed up in the back. Fine. She also said fresh bread was coming. The plantaines showed up and literally 2 minutes later our meals were out. I opted not to get the potatoes with my steak and was waiting for the bread to come out to eat with my meal. It didn't. We asked the server who said it should be coming soon. It did eventually when I was almost done with my meal. For desert we asked for coffee and ice cream balls. Only the ice cream balls showed up and we thought maybe the server forgot but since we were done with everything we weren't going to ask for coffee again. Server brought our checks and that's when we told her coffee never came and shouldn't be on the bill. She said they ran out of coffee?!! Wow. On a Saturday night for a restaurant of such quality to run out of coffee is wild. But fine it happens; however the server should have notified us immediately when she found out, not when she is handing us our checks. Food was amazing and we will definitely be back but please staff appropriately for a more pleasant experience and stock essential items such as coffee.

As always, everything was wonderful. Whenever we plan a trip to Galveston it always includes a visit to Rudy & Paco's. Hands down the best restaurant in Galveston ❣️

Our waitress Alexus was fantastic. She went above and beyond, but the humiliation of having to wrap their sheer black bathing suit wrap over my outfit because my outfit wasn’t what they considered up to their dress code, was incredibly humiliating. They called me earlier in the day to let me know of their strict dress code. I made sure my husband and child were not out of dress code because to me that would be embarrassing. I was wearing a very nice, flowy, quarter sleeve romper dress about 3-4 inches above the knee and some heels. There was only one other table there at the time we arrived. They could have just let me go to our table, with my dignity intact, only 3 tables from the front door but they instead decided to humiliate me with their ridiculous sheer black wrap skirt. I felt I couldn’t even go to the restroom if I didn’t wear their cover up. We will never go back.

We came here for a work event / team dinner with our significant others. The service was just absolutely amazing from the moment you walked in the door. Honestly this place was way to classy for me but the wife and I enjoyed every bit of it. I got the steak filled and my wife got the red fish with lump crab meat on it I believe. Also for this upscale experience the prices were very reasonable. The owner himself was in the restaurant bring food out, cleaning tables, etc. One thing that really stood out was we had about 10 people and when the food was brought out the restaurant literally send 10 people out with a dish so all the food was set down at the same exact time. Was super blown away!! I would definitely like to come back when I'm in the area.

Best crabcake we have ever had hands down. Very fresh, excellent snapper. Sautéed shrimp had way too much lemon juice and was too tart. Took out the shrimp and put them in my crab bisque, which had great flavor but was thin like a soup. Shrimp tasted fresh and cooked perfectly. Bartenders were good until we saw the roach on the champagne cooler. She tried to get it but admitted it was too fast. I would go back for a crab cake, but I'm definitely reserving a table next time. The chain cigarette smoker who sat down next to me reaked, and I had no place to go, as I am unfortunately allergic to cigarette smoke.

The best Ceviche I've ever had! Their Red Fish is the best, steak is excellent, service is impeccable, and try the key lime pie...it won't disappoint. Wine prices and selection is very notable.

I rarely give 5 stars to any places, but this restaurant truly impressed us! We were greeted by the owner upon arrival and seated at the perfect table in the corner. Their wait staff took impeccable care of our group, which included some potential customers for our company. We very much enjoyed all the food and the atmosphere!
I highly recommend splurging on the appetizer tower and wine. I ordered the owner's recommended dish, which I think was called Simpatico? It was plantain-crusted fish with crab meat on top and raspberry chipotle sauce on the bottom. Two other people got the lambchops, which were very tender and looked delicious. Finally, don't miss out on the bread pudding - it's the best I've ever had! (We also got the quatro leches cake, which was yummy).

Parking: There is a pay for parking lot next door (across the street). Easy to find & pay.

Kid-friendliness: I wouldn't recommend it for smaller/younger children who aren't able to sit and enjoy a nice dinner.

Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is a little tight on the inside. Probably wheelchair accessible, but I wouldn't go when it's really busy.
