The Hostess took initiative and provided us with more comfortable seating. Service was superb. The waiter enthusiastically explained each dish. The drinks were delivered in style. The redfish Al Abella was excellently prepared. There were several offerings on the menu that we will have to try in future visits.

The ambiance was very classy with a fun vibe. Our waiter was amazing and the food was excellent.

As always, Rudy & Paco's is an awesome experience. From the toned down cozy interior and lighting, to the greeting upon entry they are great. We hadn't been there is a while so very excited to reconnect. Service is as good as the food: 5* all the way. Our server Jhon was the best, attentive, pleasant and expert at recommendations and delivery. We began with an Od Fashioned which was delivered very elegantly and went down smoothly. We aren't big portion eaters so wife and I agreed on the crab cake appetizer and the halibut special with scallops split for each of us. Absolutely awesome...crab cakes are delicious and same recipe as always, loaded with crab and not fillers, very tasty. After the halibut with crab meat on top and a scallop for each, along with cut potatoes and string beans. Absolutely a culinary experience, awesome again!...A truly fine dining experience. We couldn't handle dessert although we peeked and decided that we had enough greatness. we will always go back. This was a special date night dinner and very enjoyable. There was a table of perhaps 8-10 near us and we never even heard them or were bothered. Acoustics in R&P are excellent so that quiet intimate conversation is possible. Of course we will return for another date night experience.

This place totally knocked it out of the park. Everything was perfect for our anniversary dinner service from start to finish. What are you waiting for? Treat yourself!

The second you walk into Rudy & Pacos you feel like family and the staff really give you that great southern hospitality. The atmosphere, food, and drinks are top tier and coming from NYC this made me feel right at home with the tasty food and attentive service. I would recommend the Vuelva a la Vida if you enjoy seafood and angel hair pasta, for some hearty fuel to keep your trip in Galveston going. Celebrated our 32nd Anniversary at Rudy and Paco. It should also be noted that we Celebrated our 5th Anniversary here back in 1999. This establishment is TOP NOTCH! The staff is incredible, the service is outstanding, and trying to use mere words to describe the quality and flavor of the food just doesn't do it justice. I would like to give a very heartfelt thank you to, Gregory. Everything about this gentlemen is TOP SHELF! To everyone who made this an outstanding memory for me and my wife, Thank you, what you provided was and is greatly appreciated.

My husband and I had one our first dates at Rudy & Paco's 27 years ago. We celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary here tonight.
While things have changed a bit since then, we agree that everything from the menu to the ambiance has only improved over time. Absolutely perfect!

It is an elegant restaurant with excellent daily luncheon specials for $21.00. I had the plantain chips, Caesar salad, mahi mahi, rice, and mixed vegetables.
