“Super fun place and the owners were amazing! Chloe was the bartender who was absolutely hilarious! We met the GM from Love’s, I believe her name is Sarah, she was also super amazing and we discussed the price of gas, which is amazing how they come up with it. Good education. A fun place to go but know if you’re a non-smoker, it’s a smoking environment. You will see a picture of Chloe climbing up the bar to get a bottle of whiskey for my husband. So funny.

“Stopped for lunch on Friday 25 March 2022. Had the Mexican Plate, two beef enchiladas and a Taco and charro beans and Spanish rice Enchiladas were great, no enchilada sauce, the taco was crisp and excellent. Will definitely recommend and will definitely be back.”

“Where to begin with Cicada Catering!! Cicada has been nothing short of a great experience, ESPECIALLY in a small town like Edna, Texas! I've had most things from the standard menu; the burgers, the sandwiches, the salads, the soups, and it's all top tier! Additionally, every daily special I've had from them has knocked it out of the park, every single time! Never have I had an order from Cicada that I was disappointed by! And on top of that, the staff is always so friendly and such a pleasure to talk to every time I come in! If you're ever in Edna, Cicada Catering is THE place to go!”

“My names Sandra, I’m new here to Edna Texas. Now I use to go to the donut shop in Brazoria Texas, but man when I found a donut shop here I seen nothing but great reviews on Edna’s donuts. I see why the reviews are almost all 5 stars! The workers I seen today were really friendly and nice. As soon as I walked in I got a warm welcome and a warm smile from a young man. I do like warm welcomes lol, but their donuts and kolaches oh my goodness they are good! The kolaches were so good and the breading was so soft. I really enjoyed my meal! The donuts are great and soft, just how I like. Now I’m not going to lie they are better than the one I use to go in Brazoria Texas.”

“The best little spot in Edna to have ice cold beer delicious food and play a game of pool. Family friendly, three big TVs to watch the sports games. Two of the best (gorgeous) bartenders I've ever seen. the owner operators are lovely people. The prices are very reasonable.”

The chicken was perfectly grilled—juicy, tender, and full of flavor without being too heavy. “I posted this on Whataburger’s FB page today. My husband and son are truck drivers. They stopped at the Whataburger in Edna TX. Since you are not allowed in the dining room right now, they stood in the drive thru to place their order. A lady with a headset on, walked all the way down there where they were and told them they could not be there. She refused to take their order and made them leave. POOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. She said the only way they could order was thru the app. And they tried to download the app but there wasn’t good enough connection to load the app. They finally walked across to CHURCH’S CHICKEN who was happy to take their order.”
