“We visited Christina’s for an early Valentine’s dinner and had an incredible experience from start to finish. We were greeted by a gentleman with an amazing personality who immediately made us feel welcome. We were quickly seated and served fresh chips and salsa while we looked over the menu. The team was on it — providing attentive and seamless service throughout the evening.

I ordered the birria tacos, and my wife had the steak and chile relleno with shrimp. As someone who’s a tough food critic, I have to say the food was outstanding. Everything was flavorful, perfectly cooked, and served hot. The margaritas were refreshing and icy — the perfect complement to the meal.

Our server was attentive, consistently checking in and making sure we were well taken care of without ever being intrusive. From an industry professional’s perspective, this experience was a solid 10/10. We’ll definitely be back!“

“House Tamal is a little, out-of-the-way place in a strip center a couple of miles from downtown Garland. Unobtrusive from the outside, but inside is a real hidden gem. The restaurant itself is bright and clean, the staff is friendly and welcoming and the food is very good. We tried the tamales and street tacos. The tamales have a perfect balance between the masa and the fillings. The masa was very fresh and moist, fillings were well seasoned. We had the queso y rajas and the carnitas. Both were very well executed. Looking at the menu, they have a lot more than street tacos and tamales. The space is minimal, bright, spacious and clean and the staff bends over backwards to make sure you have an excellent experience. You might not go out of your way, normally, but if you're close, you should. We're getting several dozen for NYE.“

“I tried this place for the first time. I tried the huitlacoche quesadilla and the chilaquiles red with eggs and meat. The quesadilla was freshly made, purple hand-made masa but was a bit too hot for me. The quilaquiles were also freshly made with little meat but the rest portions were big. Not too much breakfast selection, I would try lunch or dinner instead. Great coffee! My cost was about $23 for one person.“

Some may have a different opinion about how the food is.One of my close friends once said the enchiladas aren’t Mexican? seriously exact words its “tex-mex”. Like whatever dude i call it authentic. Lol the food is great the service is good . Close on Mondays busy in the mornings and super busy sundays. Call in your order for pick up easy if of course you familiar with the menu. “The best place to eat Mexican food, the food has an excellent flavor, they serve you freshly made food and the huarache until now is one of my favorite food along with El Menudo on the weekends, I also add a congratulations to the waiter "Erick" for His perfect attention and food when he is the cook, has the flavor of home.

“So I've been coming here about a year. Within that time span, it's been three ladies who served me. The 2nd lady got so use to me that I didnt even give my order. When I walked up she would say my order: 2 Chicken Tacos, corn tortillas, yes to onions & cilantro and I would give my $5 cash. I liked that! There is a newer lady who helped me about 3-4 weeks ago who was going to charge me $6 & change. A lady behind her corrected her and then she said $5. When I got to my car, it was flour tortilla tacos not the corn I asked for. I let it go drove off. Yesterday, 10/7, I decided to get a taco plate which i've previously paid $10. The lady says $11.21. So I asked if it's an extra cost for cash? She says $10 plus tax. If that was the case, it would have been $10.83. I said let me go to the car. When I came back, she says $11. I paid, thanked her. Got to the car 3 flour tacos NOT the corn i asked for. So I'm taking a break from here. I want what I want and I dont like being charged extra for the heck of it. I know the difference in corn & flour tortillas. Please post costs on your truck. Is there really tax? Isn't there a surcharge for card vs cash? The tacos were good, i just wanted corn tortillas. Thanks.

“I took a couple of friends last week for our first time. One of the waitresses didn't speak English, but she was very sweet to call someone who did, and he made sure we were taken care of. He gave us some menu recommendations and explained what each dish was. We all very much enjoyed our food. I wasn't able to eat all of mine because it was too spicy (I'm a spice wimp), but my friend said hers wasn't spicy at all. I got the nopales (cactus) and pork, and she got the bean and cheese. It was a little challenging to find a dairy free option here, but they have me the option of no cheese on mine. “Due to some health issues my wife and I don’t dine out a lot, but we love to order and bring food home. We found Del Rancho a couple of months ago and ordered two chicken fajita dinners online, which was super easy- love it. Got to the restaurant and our order was ready and very well packed. I really appreciate the fact that they wrap the containers in plastic wrap to help keep the food hot and it can’t spill.
When I got home, we opened the containers up and were blown away by the quantity of chicken, that was a surprise. Then we put together a couple of fajitas and tried them - OMG. The best I think I’ve ever had - and I’ve eaten a lot of chicken fajitas- my favorite Tex-Mex dish.
There was so much food in one container that we didn’t even start on the other. Just put it in the frig and
saved it for a lunch. Admittedly, we are a bit older and don’t eat as much as we once did, but the servings are very generous.
Del Rancho chicken fajitas are now a bit of an addiction and we get cravings for them at least once a week, so I’ve been back several times since we found them. We’ve had the same excellent take out experience every time.
