“Great place to hang out for food and drink!”

“Every time I go, without fail, I leave full and happy. Not only is the food amazing but the entire staff makes you feel so welcomed!! I’m so happy to see this place doing so well. You can taste the love they put in every bite. My favorite sides are cream corn and macaroni!!! As for the meats, it’s all very good so try a bit of everything they have that option too as a meal. (I’ve had it a few times now and I still don’t know which meat is my favorite 😅 ) Overall I highly recommend Damon’s, best BBQ around!”

“We and my wife were looking for something new and we stumbled across this place and it was Fantastic!! I am a big foodie, worked as a sue chef for many years and I genuinely enjoyed the food! Kid friendly and service was great! Definitely recommend!!!!”

“Out of the way neighborhood restaurant. Chips and salsa were good. Service was excellent. Prices are very fair, compared to Houston prices. Refried beans were a little bland. Ordered a side of queso, pretty good. Seemed to have a chili spice added to it. All and all it filled the tank.”

“I have eaten at The Breakfast Nook Twice , now, and the breakfast, service and friendly atmosphere has been outstanding, in every way. The eggs, ham , bacon, toast and biscuits are made fresh and come to your table nice and warm. I am looking forward to eating the homemade pancakes. I know they will be just as delicious as everything served. This is a family owned and run restaurant and the owner and the men and ladies are very nice friendly folks to talk to. In my opinion, this restaurant is top class ,all the way. I do recommend giving it a try yourself. Oh yes they also make great baked pastries, as well.”

“The sandwiche on flat bread is great. I had gotten the pepperoni rolls. They were ok, but way too much bread for what little cheese and pepperoni they put on it, I had also gotten the pretzel sticks, which are always good dipped in the chat sauce...

“I had the Asado de Puerco. Their version has bones. I know the version with bones is supposed to have more flavor, but I would probably not order it again. Everything else was delicious. The service was great.”

“I purchased my first 10 pound bag of ground meat about 5 months ago. Since then I have bought another 20 pounds. It is excellent. It is very rich and flavorful. I no longer buy my meat from any place else. I have also purchased different steaks. I had guests for dinner about a month ago. We decided to do a taste test. We made 2 different burgers for each guest. The Brahman burgers won hands down. The other burgers after they were tasted , were not eaten. They were ground chuck, but soft and bland. We are very lucky to have this meat here in Wharton.”

“Well, at first I was mad cause the lady was lil rude but then I saw her doing everything!! Even taking the food out to the customers! I was like, man, poor lady ! I knew she had to be annoyed to handle all that work! Cause that is a lot of responsibility for one person! But she did it! I was going to give 5 stars, then if corporate see that they prob would not help out! She did an awesome job under pressure!! She needs a raise!”

“Yeah! I’ve really become a regular. These snowcones are flavorful and lucky for me—- they even have sugar-free flavors. I love the Orchid Vanilla Magic. The Johnson Family does not skimp on the cream either. It is an extra 0.50 cents and well worth it! Thank you for a cute photo spot and adding cool items all the time. There’s even a cup you can purchase for those that really love snowcones.”

“Man! They serve some of the best menudo around (and I'm picky about my menudo) and served with fresh tortillas. They offer a breakfast buffet which is freshly made with many options. The pancakes were nice fluffy and delicious!”
