“Reyna’s catered bbq brisket and sausage for my wedding. It was the best brisket I’ve ever had! It was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The potato casserole and bbq beans were also excellent! Unfortunately I had over 100 people rsvp to the wedding that did not show up so we were left with tons of food. The Reynas wrapped all of the leftover briskets tightly in foil ready to be frozen and packed up the leftover sides which made things so much easier! Rachel was so easy to work with and very responsive to my many questions. We eat there regularly on Fridays for steak night. The steaks are always cooked exactly as requested and the service is great! I can’t recommend Reyna’s enough!”

“My friends and I visited Sorella's yesterday. The place is very cute, and the service was prompt and friendly. I ordered the Cajun seafood pasta. Our orders were delivered quickly, and my pasta was amazing! Generous portion, plenty of shrimp, and it was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their food. a couple of people at the table ordered pizzas, and they looked great. I love the atmosphere, and we all enjoyed ourselves. We are lucky to have this great restaurant in our little town! Thank you!”

“I have eaten at The Breakfast Nook Twice , now, and the breakfast, service and friendly atmosphere has been outstanding, in every way. The eggs, ham , bacon, toast and biscuits are made fresh and come to your table nice and warm. I am looking forward to eating the homemade pancakes. I know they will be just as delicious as everything served. This is a family owned and run restaurant and the owner and the men and ladies are very nice friendly folks to talk to. In my opinion, this restaurant is top class ,all the way. I do recommend giving it a try yourself. Oh yes they also make great baked pastries, as well.”

“Well, at first I was mad cause the lady was lil rude but then I saw her doing everything!! Even taking the food out to the customers! I was like, man, poor lady ! I knew she had to be annoyed to handle all that work! Cause that is a lot of responsibility for one person! But she did it! I was going to give 5 stars, then if corporate see that they prob would not help out! She did an awesome job under pressure!! She needs a raise!”

“The sandwiche on flat bread is great. I had gotten the pepperoni rolls. They were ok, but way too much bread for what little cheese and pepperoni they put on it, I had also gotten the pretzel sticks, which are always good dipped in the chat sauce...

“Overall, Golden Phoenix is a great place. We've ordered several times for take out, and been there for the buffet once before, all without incident. Unfortunately, during our latest visit (4/30/23), both my husband and I experienced food poisoning symptoms after having the buffet. The food TASTED wonderful - nothing giving any warning. The only thing that hubby & I ate alike was the General Tso's, so I'm fairly certain that was the culprit. Since hubby ate only a small amount, his symptoms were very mild, but mine was more severe. It was MY first experience with f.p., and NOT one I care to repeat, so I can't say we will be back. The service was IMPECCABLE as always and one of the reasons we've always liked the place.”

Parking: At the restaurant street parking is only available. The restaurant is located on the courthouse square. If the court is in session parking will have to be done at a free parking lot a block over.

Wheelchair accessibility: The sidewalks are raised. Access to the sidewalks is available at either end or at a ramp halfway between the corners.
The restaurant has a raised area. The majority of seating is on the regular area.”

“I purchased my first 10 pound bag of ground meat about 5 months ago. Since then I have bought another 20 pounds. It is excellent. It is very rich and flavorful. I no longer buy my meat from any place else. I have also purchased different steaks. I had guests for dinner about a month ago. We decided to do a taste test. We made 2 different burgers for each guest. The Brahman burgers won hands down. The other burgers after they were tasted , were not eaten. They were ground chuck, but soft and bland. We are very lucky to have this meat here in Wharton.”

“Just had great breakfast here. Great service. Ordered migas a la mexicana and a potato egg and cheese taco that was huge. Wife had nopales and chorizo which she loved. Not oily at all. Highly recommend.”

“Yeah! I’ve really become a regular. These snowcones are flavorful and lucky for me—- they even have sugar-free flavors. I love the Orchid Vanilla Magic. The Johnson Family does not skimp on the cream either. It is an extra 0.50 cents and well worth it! Thank you for a cute photo spot and adding cool items all the time. There’s even a cup you can purchase for those that really love snowcones.”
