I was passing through Wharton and decided to stop by and order through the drive thru. This was on Thursday afternoon. The employee a young man who took our order was very kind. I ordered a couple of things that they didn't have that day, but he was polite and apologetic about it. He did his best on finding other items on the menu to replace them. Which was great. Best homecooking I've had in a minute with the cheesiest macaroni, sweet carrots, spicy cabbage(for me at least) and crunchy chicken!!! Definitely making this spot one of my frequent stops. I purchased the buffet and sampled a bit of everything and LOVED IT ALL! Area was clean and staff was friendly in a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend ❤

I usually stop here for my gizards, because I'm the only one in my family that likes them. Today I went and I asked to have them not so hot and that they can probably just get them off of the buffet. The lady checking me out said no ma'am, we will make them fresh for you. I really appreciate her kindness and wanting to make my food fresh. See you next time I'm in Wharton for my gizzard fix.
