“This place is incredible! It's like stepping back in time. Amazing vintage style soda shop with ice cream treats, snacks, and vintage candies! They also have a bunch of awesome various home and decor shopping in the back along with tons of super cool toys as well. The staff are also all so amazing (especially Charlsie!) and they all make the whole experience even more fun. 10 out of 10 recommend this place!!! ❤️❤️❤️”

“Stopped in after a doctor's appointment I was really disappointed that they didn't have Hollandaise sauce ready for the Eggs Benedict (which is kind of why we went) but we were not disappointed in what we ordered! Everything was fresh, hot coffee and water was always full The biscuit lasted me at least 5 days after I brought it home!!!”

“We called in an order and it was ready in 10 min. on a Sat evening. Pleasant staff and very good BBQ Ribs. We especially liked the black pepper bark on the ribs and the sauce was really good. Potato salad, cole slaw and onion rings were excellent. BIG ribs lots of tender meat. Really Hammond's Good Job. Older folks like us appreciate good food at a reasonable cost. Also try the Fried Pie at the Fried Pie Shop on 67.”

“Great atmosphere! I do believe this restaurant is a destination place to eat. Located In Glen Rose, Texas. The food here is absolutely amazing and portions are ginormous. Caters to families and groups. Live music on weekends. I reccomend the PIG OUT. You get a sampling of their best brisket, ribs, chicken, sausage, and my favorite the catfish! All piled on a bed of fries, Texas toast, and sides of your choice. And they do have the best egg rolls you will ever have. They are hand rolled daily.”

“Very friendly, engaging staff and owners. We ordered in person, came back about 40 minutes later to get our pizza The pizza was outstanding. Crust cooked perfectly. Sauce and cheese were flavorful. We had Italian Sausage, Pepperoni, Black Olives. An abundance of all three, and all were tasty on their own. Highly Recommend!”

“We grabbed dinner on the patio since we had our dog with us. It was a beautiful evening! Delicious food, great atmosphere and prompt courteous service. I had the fish and chips - it was crisp and the tartar sauce was so yummy! My husband had the shrimp tacos and they were perfection. They even made a little doggie patty for our corgi. We will definitely be back!”

Our group liked all of their drinks and I loved my lavender matcha latte, much better than the chain coffee shops.

“(For reference I'm now 21 years old) I've lived in Granbury, (for those unfamiliar with the area, about 15mins outside of glen rose) , and have always had a very very specific preference of donuts and where we eat them because of texture sensitivity. My fiance and I had to make the move to glen rose for work related reasons and I have been sooo hesitant to eat anywhere for this reason , and I also never leave reviews lol , but I just had to come here to say , these are absolutely the most phenomenal, melt in your mouth donuts I have ever had. Sooo fresh when I went in and just absolutely heavenly. 10/10 donuts AND sausage rolls!! 🤤”

“Stopped at the Glen Rose DQ on my way home from Colorado Bend State Park. I originally stopped for a banana split, but I couldn't resist getting three tacos for Taco Tuesday instead! The service was the highlight—the lady who helped me was so encouraging. When I mentioned I was on vacation, she gave me great tips and wisely told me to make sure I didn't work during my time off! I agreed completely. The food was great, and the restaurant was clean and quiet. A perfect roadside stop.”

“So this cafe is the overlook cafe of Fossil Rim! So enjoyable, you will eat good food and it was fresh food too, hardly a wait for the food as they cook it FRESH! You can see the giraffes and deer while you wait for food and while you eat. So many children enjoy this area it's amazing. We will be back time and time again. Great date for my wife as well, I can not wait! Thanks to my best friend for showing me this place! I love it!!!!

“We took a family trip to glen rose and happened to drive by The Green Pickle Grill. So glad we found it! Good home cook in’ and very friendly service. The restaurant was very clean and food was serviced quickly. The staff even helped us plan our time at the state park so we didn’t miss anything!”
