“Food is really good and service is average. The server is not friendly or attentive to the customers needs. There is only indoor seating NO OUTDOOR seating as advertised. BE AWARE there are two different prices on the food items. The black price represents the price of paid with CASH. The red price represents if you pay with a credit or debit card. The items add up to more than the 2.5% charge for using a card to pay. Again good food, service is suspect and price variance isn’t worth it.”

This place has old school flare. The Food and friendly atmosphere is good enough for us to keep coming back. Cleanliness throuth out the restaurant a plus for the customers. Keep up the good work.”

“The 14 oz NY steak that I ordered has been one of the best I've had, good seasoning, tender and juicy, i ordered mash potato and zukiny for sides. I just need to order a good red wine ? to taste the steak. 100% recommended.”

“Amazing place! Delicious food in large portions! Even just appetizers can fill you up easy. Great atmosphere with lots of friendly customers! Always good music, mostly country, and often live music on the weekend! The staff is warm and heard working, they do a lot to add to the hospitality with their great service! Tyla does make a perfect drink! Running M is a wonderful place to eat, drink and relax in Gonzales, Tx!!”

“Driving thru Gonzales Texas and saw a small town chicken joint. I’m a sucker for fresh livers and gizzards so had to stop and see if they were on the menu.

To my luck they were! Even better the drive thru menu says there will be a wait while they make them fresh.

Talk about fresh!! They were hot and crisp. The wait was so worth it.
The price was less than $10 and included a roll and gravy.
I have zero complaints.
This place is a gem.

I don’t get there often but will definitely stop in every time for this amazing food.
