Amazing place! Delicious food in large portions! Even just appetizers can fill you up easy. Great atmosphere with lots of friendly customers! Always good music, mostly country, and often live music on the weekend! The staff is warm and heard working, they do a lot to add to the hospitality with their great service! Tyla does make a perfect drink! Running M is a wonderful place to eat, drink and relax in Gonzales, Tx!!

I was here last year and everything was great. This year the food was ok and the service was very slow to non existent. Little disappointed but I will try them again.
Running M Bar & Grill is a hidden gem offering delicious food and excellent service. The fried gizzards are a must-try, perfectly prepared and not rubbery. While the boudin may not be as flavorful as expected, the chicken fried steak and fried mushrooms are fantastic. The ambiance is relaxing, with a slightly elevated bar area. Parking is convenient and free, though the signage could use improvement for better curb appeal. The separate bar area is appreciated for non-drinkers. This historic restaurant in Gonzales, TX, is a wonderful place to eat, drink, and relax, with friendly customers, good music, and warm, hardworking staff who strive to provide great hospitality.
