“Oh my gosh !! Best chicken strips and beef strips ever!! Over three fingers wide and at least four inches long, we got ours served with mashed potatoes and gravy!! ? Yummy.. my brother ordered chili. All fantastic. Huge cups of tea. I recommend the blackberry or the peach tea too. Their salads are fabulous and so is the chicken fried chicken or the chicken fried steak. Best around....we love this little restaurant.“
“We grabbed breakfast here the morning after the annual PK fireworks. The food was great, the prices were great and we really enjoyed the grounds after we ate. We all agreed that we will come here more often and we’ll make breakfast after fireworks an annual tradition.“

“We drove quite far just to try this place, and we will do it again in a heartbeat. This was hands down one of the best burgers we’ve ever had. We also had sweet potato fries which did not disappoint. Very friendly and helpful staff. It’s a little hole in the wall as my husband likes to call it, but we absolutely enjoyed all of it. We love supporting small businesses and we are planning on going back!“

Very nice staff that went above and beyond, excellent food, clean environment, and neatly/ interestingly decorated with the baker hotel blue prints! Awesome place to eat! “I usually have the brisket sandwich which is pretty good. The ribs, smoked bologna and hot links are worthy. Nice condiment bar with three different kinds of pickled peppers. The store has pickled everything! They have a drive thru but it’s better to go inside if a car is already in line. Inside is nice and clean with kitschy country decor but I usually get to-go since I am just driving thru. I wish they had French Fry’s or fried okra but they don’t.“
“Hemmingways hosted the baby shower for my sweet niece and nephew. WOW! What a beautiful event and venue. The owner Jilene, staff Olivia, and all behind the scene, did an outstanding job. The food was splendid, the drinks were top notch, and the service was spot on. Many family members, including myself, traveled to attend this event. We were not disappointed.
