“Ate dinner Wednesday night around 5:45 pm, Jan 31st, 2024 and found a seat very easily. This is a small place and the frontage is easy to miss so slow down. The waitress is part of the fam that owns this place and she was a super lively, chattery, and winsome. Made the visit feel homey. The portions were huge. I ate half and had the rest the next night. And you must get their chocolate cake. It’ll make you a diabetic, but a happy one! Made it out for around $30 by myself. Nice place and I’d eat there again“

“Great locally owned restaurant. Extremely busy for lunchtime. Friendly staff and great lunch specials served by a smiling face. I had the Everyday Special of Chicken Fried Steak w/onion rings and a side salad. It comes with 2 sides to choose from a listing of about 8-9 choices. Something for everyone.“

“Oh my dinner the other night was AMAZING! I’ve been coming to possum all my life and sad to see I’ve never written a review but our recent dinner was amazing. Service is always good, salad bar is always stocked, clean, and yummy! But dinner was exceptional! Three people ordered the Kansas City sirloin at our table and every single one was cooked exactly like they ordered. Everyone raved! Give it a try you won’t be disappointed“

“I ate there with my son and his family. I thought the buffet was over-priced though the 14 year old grandson made good use of it. The price was reasonable for younger children. The food was good, and when ordered off the menu, generously portioned. It was fun to be able to dock at its marina and very convenient. Our waitress was a gem.“

“A steak you could cut with a fork. It was delicious. Waitstaff was amazing. Great date night or any night. My steak was large and I finished it off the next day.Vegetarian options: Being a meat eater I would never recommend a vegetarian meal. But that is my opinion.“

I ordered the large mess, my friend had the cheeseburger special and kid's corn dog.. The food came out fairly quick and it was good. At checkout, we also purchased a brownie and ice cream. The total was almost $35. My only issue with this establishment is the checkout counter being so close to the door.Parking: The parking lot is not ideal. When I parked, I had a hard time leaving due to the cluster of vehicles in unmarked spaces“

“We rate pretty hard cause we feel everything needs to be perfect for 5 stars. This place rated next to perfect. My husband and I stopped by and split the Homemade fried steak, mashed potatoes, green beans and Caesar salad ($22.00) It was really wonderful. Perfect amount for us both. I ordered a coke zero $3.25 which I feel was over priced. I read on others reviews that there are no refills either.“

“I had combination chicken and beef nachos and shared them with my Dad. We were both full enjoyed them. They came with guacamole, sour cream and a mix of tomatoes onions and bell peppers on the side plate.Plenty of cheese and meat.I enjoyed it and will definitely eat there again.“
