“Their food and service is amazing, and they are not overpriced like so many restaurants are now. The ambiance is fun and festive with Christmas decor and music. Their vegetarian chili is delicious, although very spicy. I wish it was not quite as spicy but it still has a great flavor. The french fries are fried perfectly - not greasy or soggy at all. Their mac and cheese is delicious and creamy. The fried okra is also perfectly fried - not wet or greasy. The cobb salad is delicious and they actually give you a decent amount of avocado and boiled eggs, unlike some restaurants who put barely any on the salad and then overprice it. And their jalapeno corn muffins are amazing! It has been a long time since I have been to a restaurant like this where everything we ordered is so delicious. Thank you Tolbert’s!“

“We had the best time at Firebirds last night. The service was outstanding and the food was amazing. We ordered steaks, meatloaf, salads, appetizers, children's meals, shrimp and grits, so a big variety. We had 9 in our party, which included 3 children. Our server was the BEST! She was able to keep the food and drinks coming, refills as needed and just delightful. I would give her 10 stars if I could! A great place to enjoy a family meal. Definitely need to return.“

“I attended a meeting here, a delightful experience. Dinner was served, and it was great. Starting with salad and an assortment of veggies that were exquisitely prepared, a delicious main course of salmon and roast beef also splendidly prepared. All this was followed by tasty desserts. Refreshments Alcohol, Wine, Beers, Soda pops, and good old reliable Water. The facility staff were great and very helpful. A well run and well-maintained facility, I would give it 5 stars.“

“I can be picky about steakhouses but this one was right on in terms of the steak itself. A prime NY strip for $53 is a decent price and this one was huge and one of tastiest I’ve ever had.\nThe built in sides (carrot and potato) are decent but the steak is the star. The wine list is pricey and not great with a big mark up. The wedge salad is just ok. Service is top notch.“

“Firstly the food was delicious and came out very quickly and was worth every penny. Then I don't know what happened, we asked our waitress to come over and help us understand the bill as we didn't realize the bill subtotals each category at the bottom, i.e. food, alcohol, etc..and then something went awry! She bent down to hear what my daughter was asking, as it was a little busier at this point and a little louder, but not to bad as to hinder the mood and she immediately said to my daughter stop yelling at me your being rude!!! I couldn't believe what I was hearing! Paying $300.00 for food drinks and tip to be treated with such disrespect. I then said to the waitress, she's not yelling, and she looked right at me and said yes she is. Now she's gone to arguing with the customer. I then wished I hadn't left a generous tip, this was beyond my understanding. I s/w the manager of course and he offered to comp our next meal, but who wants to return to a place for fear of receiving unprofessional treatment again.“

“The service at the buffet within Great Wolf was exceptional. Both mornings and nights that we were there, a line was always formed outside of the restaurant but it never took long to get our food. The first morning we asked if we could sit at the bar while we waited for a table and the server in charge of that section offered to pour us mimosas while we waited. Our wait time was maybe 10 minutes. The server decided to pull two tables apart and let us sit in his section since he had already served us. The night of my sons birthday they sang to him and he was so surprised but he secretly love it. The food was so good and the staff was very attentive even though it's a buffet.“

“The Fried Chicken was excellent. Not too dry and cooked well. The Steak Fries were huge, equivalent to half of a baked potato with a crispy skin and tasted very good. The salad was very well done and the vinaigrette dressing was excellent.

Some of my dining companions had brunch and said the omelets were good and the breakfast potatoes were good but spicier than expected so order water. The Key Lime Pie is excellent and highly recommended.

The atmosphere was elegant and not too loud. Food came out fast and our server Kristen was very kind and provided excellent service.“

“I recently ate here while visiting from out of town! It was the best meal I’ve had in years! The rolls were fresh and melted in my mouth! The meatloaf was amazing, able to taste every ingredient! The broccoli was steamed and perfect for my taste! The dessert was ice cream with blackberry cobbler! It was divine!!! My only bad thing was I would have enjoyed having a spoon instead! There was one waiter taking care of the front part of the restaurant that was on point the entire evening! He was very engaging with all of his patrons and kept everything clean! None the less my liddo sister Christel Rios brought me on a runaway short trip from Wichita Falls Tx to Dallas Tx to visit family and then we ended up in Grapevine Tx on our way home and stopped to finally eat here at Saltgrass. We entered in and had might I ask, where was the hostess with the mostess to greet us? However, we were finally seen and seated. The lovely gentleman sat us as we told him that it was our first time eating there. I was sooooo excited. So he sat us down.....its beautiful inside. Couldnt keep my off of everything in there....its like a scene from thw WILD WEST. Well moving on, our waiter was Matthew, he was AMAZINGGGGG to us! 🥇⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and so on for stars. He made us feel so at home. He gave us alot of positive info about the restaurant. Great job Matthew. Now not to be mean but the starter bread and butter was not the best. “This restaurant has been my go-to brunch place for at least 2 years, the atmosphere is quaint, calm, with soft ambient sound and its homey decorations very easy to have a conversation and everything I've tried has been delicious. I never fail to clear my plate I will definitely come back every time I'm in town. I personally recommend the omlettes or skillets and the side of potatoes is especially good. The owners are very nice and care a lot about their customers, & as a regular they always ask me about whats new in life!

Overall 10/10 and as a local I would reccomend it over the other breakfast places in the area“

“It was late when we arrived and we were told to grab a menu and seat ourselves. We did which was no problem. The man who told us he usually washes dishes took our order. Food arrived fairly timely for the situation at that time. Food was decent and refills were hard to get. I would give them another chance. Maybe more staff next time.“
