“The food is absolutely fantastic. We got a quesadilla and the caldo de res with horchatas. The quesadillas had so much flavor and the caldo de res is now my new favorite. The horchatas were perfectly spiced and not too sweet. This is where we are going to stop every single time we travel through Longview, Texas. The atmosphere could use a bit more in the paint and welcoming department. I can be a bit confusing where the take-out vs dine-in are if it's your first time. The entrance can be more lively (paint, plants, seating, etc) and the dining area could be less cluttered. If you want wonderfully flavored food, then go here.“

“Hands down my favorite restaurant in Longview, Tx! The fun atmosphere and live music entertainment makes this our go to restaurant for date night, family dinners & they even have a private event room that we are planning to use for our next birthday dinner! I love their bread bowl and the oysters Jaunita!! The menu has so many options for everyone! We love tias and can’t wait to go back again soon!

“We attended a family and friends luncheon at The Jalapeño Tree - Longview following a funeral today. The staff could not have been more attentive or welcoming. Maybe the manager picked the best people to work the event, but they were wonderful. Just the right amount of attention, never intrusive. Three staff members served us in the buffet line; beef and chicken fajitas with beans, rice, fixins, and those house-made tortillas. It was all very good. Most of us got an ice cream cone on the way out, so we paused for one last photo at our loved one’s favorite restaurant. Thanks again, Jalapeño Tree!“
