“It was a great evening. We had never been to Dos Olivos before, but it had always been on our list to try. The vibe is completely different from what you see through the windows—it always looked more like a market than a restaurant from the outside. I happened to see the link on Facebook for the Valentine's Day dinner and decided it was the perfect opportunity to check it out. We had always assumed it was just wine and charcuterie trays, but it turned out to be so much more. We will definitely be going back for another date night or a light dinner.“

“1000% yes! I'm not really a red meat eater but I do eat carne picada/molida. The first time we went to eat I asked if they could make carne picada tacos and cookie said "yes of course". My family and myself have been going ever since! Cookie and her staff are the BEST and their tacos, frijoles and the agua de melon NEVER disappoint! We always feel welcomed like family! “Although the night is not too busy i do enjoy coming to Applebee’s in Harlingen. The food is great and the service is exceptional. I do appreciate seeing all the hard work these employee’s do. As being in the restaurant undustry myself, i commend seeing the staff here be attentive and friendly. The manager, Jacob, is well driven and hands on. He went above and beyond to help his staff and that’s the kind of leadership every restaurant should have. I look forward to coming again.“

“I have loved the Chicken Potpie since coming to Cheddars to eat. I've had at least 6 of them and then the one I had last summer had no chicken in it. I said nothing to anyone, just deciding to not come back for a while. We stopped there with two other couples today and I thought...try it again. Before they used to have lots of white chicken chunks, this one today had very few pieces of chicken. What has happened to it?“

“I highly recommend this place to eat. The brisket is so flavorful and fresh. We order the botana for 2, it could feed 3-4. We had nothing to take in a to go box! The drinks are also good and they have AWESOME sweet tea. I wish I found this place sooner.“

We came with a big group, and everything was really good—even the kids' pizzas and chicken tenders were made with real chicken. We will definitely be coming back! Same update and info in 2025, still having meetings here.. the harlingen location is better than Brownsville, the Brownsville spot never smells well & they forgot several people's orders when there were only 3 overall different tables with people, not good“
