“Usually always exceptional! But they don’t train their staff long enough. I felt so sorry for our server. She should not have been left on her own yet. She struggled and it affected the service we received. We got no spoon to stir my dad’s tea. No lemons we asked for the water. No breadsticks. No dressing or croutons for the salad. The food was borderline cold. Not her fault. Is why I still give a 5 ⭐️ review. Great effort for her 2nd day 😊“

“Although the night is not too busy i do enjoy coming to Applebee’s in Harlingen. The food is great and the service is exceptional. I do appreciate seeing all the hard work these employee’s do. As being in the restaurant undustry myself, i commend seeing the staff here be attentive and friendly. The manager, Jacob, is well driven and hands on. He went above and beyond to help his staff and that’s the kind of leadership every restaurant should have. I look forward to coming again.“
