“Really good! Jesus was great! Friendly, helpful, polite and attentive. He recommended the Tacos Al Carbon which I hadn’t noticed, with both varieties (beef and chicken) and the salsa verde which was awesome! He did a great job (Thanks Jesus). The food was great as was the service! Atmosphere is a bit older but the staff keeps the place clean from what I can tell. Overall I would definitely go back!“

“Great food place! The food is tasty and the prices reasonable. It’s more of a pick-up food place rather than a stay-and-eat place.Their strong suit is their chicken package with 1 whole chicken, rice, charro beans, tortillas, grilled onion, and salsas all for $20. It feeds about 4 grown hungry men and it’s a good deal. It is ready in about 3 minutes.The chicken has a good flavor of being grilled over coal. The rice is decent. The charro beans have good flavor. The salsas are good but the green one is especially good.The taqueria has a wide range of food. They also have a rib package which is a bit pricier than the chicken but still good and tender. The pupusas are good and made on the spot so it has a bit of wait time. Their fresh waters are good and huge. Their tamales are good sized if a bit lacking in taste.There is ample parking and wheelchair accessible.Try this place it’s really good, with a wide selection, and reasonably priced.“

“I’m giving them 5 stars, not only for the food and service but because of the way we were treated and taken care of after an accident of spilling Nashville Hot sauce on my wife and me. Our shirts were covered in some areas and it was not a good way to end a great afternoon with friends. The manager immediately came out and took care of the bill and asked me to take the shirts to the cleaners and bring her the bill. I had them cleaned and brought them the bill and no questions asked, the reimbursed me for the total. Accidents happen but it’s the best when management is accountable and they take care of you. We highly recommend Chilis and we will definitely be back for the great food, service and management.“

“Ate here for the first time tonight and live a mile away but never tried it . The service was outstanding our waiter Lorenzo was attentive and personable and never left a drink half empty and had great recommendations on food. We had the fajitas with chicken, steak, bacon wrapped shrimp, bbq ribs. As well as queso con carne and an order of carnitas . Don’t sleep on getting the carnitas . Dang. The Gm is super friendly as well and I let him know we were very impressed with the service as well as quality of food . If you are in the Waco area come check this place out you won’t leave disappointed.“
