“I went to Perro Cafe this morning and had a large sugar free white mocha that was outstanding. It was not sweet and the coffee was very smooth with no bitter taste whatsoever. I recommend the place if you want an excellent coffee. It will be my go to place when I visit McAllen again.“

Very personable and accommodating staff, great atmosphere, if you want suggestions for something new they are patient and in no way denigrate you. The drinks are just good, you can taste the drink and flavors instead of overwhelming sugar. They taste like quality drinks and totally different from chain shops I have tried. I didn't know coffee could be this good, seriously. I was shocked at the reasonable prices, much better quality at much lower price. Next time I will take some pics. “We really enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere. My husband had the barbacoa breakfast plate and I had the #3 breakfast with croissant egg and spinach sandwich, oatmeal and fresh fruit. We will be coming back to this restaurant for breakfast and try their lunch menu.“

“We loved the small town cafe atmosphere. Super clean place and very busy. Apart from having cool decorations and very attractive menu, the food was tasty. Authentic Mexican breakfast. Appearance and taste on point. Our disappointment was the slow service, and the food was brought out one plate at a time and cold. Also, plates were brought incomplete missing complimentary items. Pricing was fair for the quality of the meal. Again food quality was excellent. Could have been an off day on the service. I enjoyed the music that walked in, excellent Fara Fara.“

Great coffee, fun crafted offerings (hot or cold) if you want something different than the usual latté.The usual yummy coffee shop pastry offerings.The staff are personable and helpful - just the kind of people that make a coffee shop worth the stop!!!“
