“We had a wonderful time at J. prime last night for our anniversary. It was our first time visiting and we were so impressed. We called to inquire about getting a table at 9:30 at night after our previous dinner plans fell through due to a canceled reservation. J. Prime had our table ready at 9:45 when we walked in the door, complete with red roses and a handwritten Happy Anniversary card! Above & beyond, from the beginning. Our server, Laura T. was immediately so accommodating, friendly, and completely knowledgeable about the menu. She asked about our food allergies (we can’t have dairy) and made sure everything was tailored to meet our needs the whole night. The food was lovely and delicious - lobster tail bites, truffle fries, beet salad, Caesar salad, grilled broccolini & filet mignon. The flavors & sauces were great. For dessert we were brought a beautiful fresh sorbet with a sparkler to celebrate 💜 Laura made our night! Her attention to detail and quality of service was truly top notch, and my girlfriend is a chef so she has high expectations. We were so pleased & enjoyed our experience thoroughly. We will be back!“

“My husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary at Myron's June 18, 2024. Our hostess Monica was wonderful. She was courteous, attentive, and knowledgeable. Our steaks were prepared to perfection. “Food was very good and brought with reasonable time. My family and I visited during graduation weekend, so it was reasonably busy. Trays of drinks were shattered on two separate occasions during our visit which disrupted the atmosphere but overall our server was very attentive.“

“I gave the Outback a 4 star, the why. I came to outback with my family and at first asked to be seated at a table, after noticing we would be sitting in an uncomfortable position due to the walking path we asked to be seated at a booth, the young lady who seated us and another manager did not like this so this caused my 4 star review.

The food, service, and atmosphere deserves a 5 star rating. Harry was outstanding, he was on top of all the drinks and requests, he was very responsive and the whole table felt as if he was only serving our table. I will definitely be returning to this location but if harry is not my server I’ll wait for him.“

“My wife and I went today for lunch, she had the Chicken fried chicken and I had a burger with mushrooms and sautéed onions. Also a cactus blossom for appetizer. By far some of the best food we have had in a while. Complements to the chef and team. Devon was our waiter and he was great! We will be asking for him for now on when we go back. Also if you haven’t tried the Raspberry tea, you’re missing out lol. Just wanted to share cause great service is hard to find these days and again great job!“

“Nothing bad to say about this location. This is weird but they have absolutely delicious water. Service was good. Restaraunt and bathrooms were clean. I left the table to wash up before leaving and the busser chucked my leftovers. Manager was nearby and saw what happened. He had the kitchen remake my whole order with bread and butter. Now THATS service. Delicious water.“

“Amazing food and very attentive and friendly staff! Our waiter last night was Jim, who was great and made sure we had an amazing experience! Marcos, the GM, also visited to ensure everything was to out satisfaction and stayer to chat for a bit!! My wife and I split the fried cauliflower entree, the grilled Halibut and Shrimp main plate, and a strawberry cheesecake! Every bite was incredibly delicious and we will definitely be returning soon!!“

“Excellent dinner. My wife and I ate the filet with Oscar, and a side of Mac and Cheese. It was wonderful.

We had Excellent service. The Creme brulee with cookie was my favorite desert.

“For once my steak tasted really good, received it exactly how I wanted it. They made sure my family and I were well taken care of. Dessert was amazing, I don't drink so any place that has alcohol gets a 4 star because I had kids with me. But service and for was really good.“

“The Barn Door is an Alamo Heights staple! Everyone that works there is extremely attentive and polite! They are the PROS when it comes to superb service and DELICIOUS steaks! They have an excellent bar selection and are known as a TOP restaurant for large get-togethers or FAMILY celebrations! Each dining room has a theme that speaks to VETERANS, ‘09er’s, and SAN ANTONIANS alike! I would say, that’s it’s just like winning the TRIPLE CROWN when it comes to Service, Food, & Atmosphere! I personally recommend the Chicken Fried Ribeye with a Loaded Baked Potato & Cheesecake for desert! P.S. the “Fool Proof” daiquiri will allow you to relax after a hard day at work!!“

“I think this place is pretty busy so it's understandable that the servers are always a little bit rushed. But when they try to take your food order before you even open the menu. I get a little put off and then When you don't get your drinks until after.Your food has already been served.That is sometimes another problem. The portions are very large and it's very good But I think I need to hire.
