We hadn't been in a while & so happy we came back. From the moment you walk in the door to feel welcomed. The food is awesome. Menudo is absolutely the best as is the pozole. If you haven't tried Blanquita's please do.
I love this place. Love all the Tex-Mex food. Especially because they have tejano music playing in the back ground. I love it because it takes me back to the good ole days in the 80s and 90s eating out at these Tex-Mex restaurants con our food musica and culture. I'm sick of all these places with banda music constantly. We need more spots like this. Laredo tacos on Patton reminds of this spot as well.
One of my 5 top restaurants in Texas it's the closest it's gotten to my home town of East Los Angeles Boyle Heights delicious authentic food. Highly recommend any caldo and any plate like the Chile rellenos ... The only thing that I had to get over is that they don't sale beer or margaritas and sometimes for the cruda you need a nice cold michelada.. over all 5 stars
