Cassy's Kitchen is our go-to soul food spot! We stumbled upon them by accident and have absolutely no regrets. The first time we went in, we were immediately greeted with the smell of real, homestyle, Southern comfort food and smiling faces. I ordered the oxtail plate w yams and macaroni, and my wife ordered the meatloaf, macaroni and greens. Stopped in after moving my son into U of H and it did not disappoint! We tried the oxtails, fried pork chop, smothered pork chops, and fish & shrimp plate—everything was cooked perfectly and nobody had a single complaint (which is rare because my youngest is super picky). The mac & cheese was the star, and my son loved the yams so much he ate two orders. No long wait, affordable prices, great food, and even better customer service.
