This is the best tasting menu in Houston. I've been here three times, and each time they knock it out of the park. Rich, interesting dishes in an approachable atmosphere. Don't let the surroundings fool you, this is a restaurant that would be worthy of a star if the French deemed us worthy of the attention of their little book. The food is the main attraction, but don't sleep on the wine pairings. Every pairing Ashley made worked perfectly with the dishes for each course.
Ashley and the team made my first time here an amazing one. They made sure to curb the menu a tab because of my dietary restrictions and that allowed me to try every course. I still can’t get over the fall have at salad; wish I could have gotten a huge bowl of it! I liked how the chef came out before every course and explained the dishes to us, just wish the music wasn’t as loud because it was hard to hear him.

Our small group greatly enjoyed the tasting menu with wine pairing. Ashley paired some great wines (and a sake) for each coarse. Service was on point and chef took the time to answer all of our questions.
