Dixie Deli is a great spot for a lunchtime sandwich, open Monday to Friday. Their sandwiches, including the ham and American cheese, hot roast beef with au jus, the Cuban, the muffuletta, and the Reuben, are excellent and reasonably priced. The customer service is warm, hospitable, fast, and friendly, and the bread is exceptional. It is a great new lunch spot to try with multiple sandwich options, including a lunch special. The owner, David, is very kind and the staff is friendly. You can also try the chicken and sausage gumbo, red beans & rice, and homemade desserts. Parking is easy in the small shopping center.
