So, the food truck itself Is not all pizzazed out, but boy I tell ya as far as authenticity goes, this is the real deal Holyfield, the Matamoros tacos brings back memories of the tacos we had in Matamoros visiting fam. As a kid, they're up there with the taconazos and taconatos, even hang with the ultimo taco!!
(From July 2021)This taco truck was at Kirbys Ice House at the end of July. My date had the munchies so we saddled up here after guzzling some brews. She ordered the nachos and I had the shrimp taco. The taco was tasty and a decent size. Nachos were ok, chips got soggy quickly due to being smothered in queso. I Always order from this Food Truck and I would say one of the best on the southeast side of Houston! I’ve had the Super Quesabirrias, Gorditas, birria tacos and the Tacos de Maiz. All very delicious! The Birria tacos aren’t crispy on the outside but they’re nicely dipped in the consommé sauce, stuffed with delicious mozzarella cheese and rich flavorful shredded beef.
