El Tacopeton is known for serving the best Tacos de Trompo in town. While the wait time may be a bit long, the charro beans are tasty and the flavors of the food hit just right. Some may find the place sketchy, but it's worth it for the delicious Mexican food. The tacos, especially the pork and fajita beef with grilled onion and cilantro, are highly recommended. Customers enjoy seeing the trompo itself and watching the food being prepared, which adds to the atmosphere. Inside, there are only about 5 tables that are not very well organized, and space is limited. The environment is basic, and parking can be a challenge, as there are only a few spots next to a gas station. The sauces are both delicious and spicy, and the food is generally good, reminding some of TacosTec. However, the lemonade might not be as good as authentic Mexican sodas like Joya or Mexican cola. The staff are not overly polite or attentive, but they do their job. Price is a concern for many, as a single order of tacos de trompo, prepared beans, and a soda can cost around thirty dollars, which some find too expensive for the quality and portion sizes. The food can be a bit greasy at times, but overall, many find the tacos worth it despite the service and space limitations.
