Usually not very busy but the food is so good! They do the Spicy and sweet mixture very well. Chicken is spicy but the coleslaw is sweet, which balances out the sandwich very well. I always get a sandwich while my husband loves their loaded fries. He doesn’t like coleslaw even though I said it pairs really well so he used to always ask without, but one time he forgot to request no coleslaw and decided to try it and ended up liking it more with coleslaw! I used to live in Houston a couple of months back and dine in at Howdys Hot chicken REFULARLY. I'm talking once per week almost. The excess amount of exercise I had to maintain to continuously enjoy this food place could not have been more worth it. I still visit Houston from time to time, and every time I do, I go to my favorite spot, Howdys.
