JJ Fish & Chicken is a restaurant known for its flavorful fried chicken, shrimp fried rice, and wings. Customers often praise the food for its taste and generous portions, with some mentioning that the prices are reasonable and suitable for large families. The atmosphere is described as calm and clean, with friendly and professional staff who provide excellent service. Several reviews highlight the helpfulness and pleasant attitude of the staff, making visitors feel welcomed and appreciated.
However, there are some concerns. Some customers are disappointed by the lack of real hot sauces like Crystal or Red Rooster and the absence of dips, which affects the overall experience. Others note issues with the quality of the chicken, mentioning that it was not cooked fresh and became soggy quickly, or that some pieces seemed almost raw or wet. Additionally, a complaint about fish nuggets with skin causing a dirty taste was mentioned. Despite these issues, many reviews remain positive, especially praising the taste and quality of the food, particularly the wings and shrimp fried rice.
Overall, JJ Fish & Chicken is appreciated for its tasty food, good service, and reasonable prices, though some customers wish for better hot sauce options and consistent food quality.
