La Corona Reviews
Very nice waiters and the manager walked around to say hi…..but for the prices of their food it wasn’t worth it. I got tortilla soup and it came with a small amount of chicken but under cooked huge pieces of carrots, cauliflower, zucchini and broccoli. La Corona is a beautiful, clean restaurant that offers great prices for their lunch specials. The food is delicious, with customers raving about the incredible beef fajitas, enchiladas al carbon, chicken quesadillas, menudo, and the French toast crusted with cornflakes, which is crunchy and crispy. The service is incredibly attentive and friendly, making guests feel right at home, reminiscent of a fancy steakhouse in Houston. The portion sizes are generous and Texas-sized, and the margaritas, made by Pepe, are said to be wonderful, served in a large, cube-shaped glass. Customers appreciate the quality of ingredients, finding it higher than what is typically found at most TexMex restaurants. La Corona has a wide selection of entrées and appetizers, including a dish with whole fish fried to a crispy skin. Many consider La Corona to be a fantastic option for fine Mexican food, with fresh, bold flavors and unforgettable salsas that taste like they came straight from Mexico. Whether dining in for a leisurely meal or in a hurry, La Corona provides a satisfying dining experience that keeps customers coming back.
