La Griglia is a superb ristorante located fairly close to downtown Houston. The locale is lovely, and the dining room is beautifully appointed. The food is excellent, beautifully served by an attentive and very congenial waitstaff. The cuisine is exquisite, with beautifully presented dishes using excellent ingredients, such as the magnificent Crab and Shrimp "cheesecake" slice made with Mascarpone.
The restaurant is rated as one of the best in Houston for a reason. The service is impeccable, with attention to detail second to none. The sommelier knows what they are doing, and the food is absolutely superb - unique and perfectly presented.
