Little Woodrow’s Midtown is a great sports bar in midtown with a nice open air feel and plenty of outdoor seating. The vibe is chill with cold beers on tap, solid drinks at a good price, and a fun vibe for game day hangs. A dog play area with a secure pen and plenty of room is a plus for bigger dogs. The venue does not have a kitchen but has a food truck and you can bring your own food or order delivery. Parking is mostly paid street parking and can be tricky depending on the time, so plan ahead; $10 parking do have for locals who can walk there. Thursdays bring a lot of fun for turtle racing. The DJ was pretty bad and the sound for the fight was not the music. The drink selection is ample and a great place to try local Houston brews. A small crowd on Wednesday night was very welcoming and the staff had great service with pool tables and solid drinks for a good hang out.
