The Dogwood offers a friendly atmosphere with a good beer selection and music. The food, while tasting good, does not have a unique selection and the chicken tenders and gravy were found to be bland. Service is commendable, especially from Melissa, who handled a large group exceptionally. It is a great spot for happy hour and has a prime location for waiting out traffic. The brunch menu is worth trying. Visitors note that the environment can be a little untidy and that smoking is not preferred, but the music on Sunday afternoons is on point. The bartenders serve liquor well, and drinks are not watered down. The venue tends to be quieter from 9 pm to 11 pm, making it a good place to pass through for a vibe or to end the night. Parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and the downstairs area is wheelchair accessible.
