Los Tios is a restaurant known for its delicious food and welcoming atmosphere. The combo plates, which don't come with beans and rice, make it a great option for those who want to control their portions. The "Lunchie" Rita's are a popular choice for a refreshing drink. Parking is convenient and the waitstaff is friendly, making it a great option for families with children. The restaurant has a trendy yet laid-back vibe.
Many customers appreciate the good service and the kid menu, which is relatively large and offers options like kid burgers. The house-made flour tortillas are very good, and the salsa is tasty, though some wish it were a bit spicier. The rice is moist and not dry, and the food quality is generally very good. Popular dishes include Tacos Al Carbon, nachos, and golden tacos, with some guests enjoying the Pechuga Monterrey, which is tender and flavorful, and chicken flautas that are highly loved. The cheese puff is also a unique and interesting appetizer. The restaurant is busy during holidays, but the staff remains responsive and accommodating, especially for large groups and events. The front offers free chocolate, and the place is clean and family-friendly. Parking is ample, and the restaurant is accessible with ramps and friendly staff to assist guests. New manager Eduardo is professional and provides great service. Employees greet you extremely happily when you walk in the door. They brought the chips and salsa out promptly and were very polite. The waiter was really cool and a great guy, very friendly. The food was really decent. The salsa tasted really good. The tea glasses are on the small side, but they have cloth napkins which shows a little class. A tostada, guacamole salad, and a cheese puff were ordered. The cheese puff was really thick and big, a little different than at other restaurants. There is a section for meals with cheese puffs on the menu. The hot plate had rice and beans, enchilada, and a tamale. The rice had nice chunks of onions and strips of green and orange bell peppers, which made it taste really sweet and delicious. The dinner and tea came to $21.50. Los Tios has been serving great food for over 40 years.
