MAD offers a great ambiance with fantastic decor, especially in the bathroom. The octopus is often highlighted as the best dish ordered, while the Valencia paella is good with nice rice, though it is not very close to real paella. The croquetas are good but small. The atmosphere is very nice, featuring a beautiful restaurant and a DJ, which creates a pleasant dining experience. The chef, Cameron, provided an unforgettable Astronaut Experience, and guests look forward to returning to enjoy the paella with beef and seafood next time. The owner, Luis, is praised for his cocktail selection and for creating an awesome dining experience with great conversation. Despite small portions and minor issues with certain dishes, MAD remains a solid choice for Spanish cuisine in Houston, with attentive service and plenty of vegetarian options available.

The restaurant also offers an amazing Sunday brunch, with great service and delightful pairings like Mimosas and Bravas Tomas with Jamon Iberico, followed by a delicious Tortilla Española with mushrooms and a Pulled Pork Croissant with unique flavors. Guests are eager to come back and try the rest of the menu, especially the Churros con Chocolate, which are described as so crispy.

While the appetizers are great, the paella is not traditional Spanish style, as it only includes rice and shrimp, which has disappointed some guests. However, the restaurant has made up for it by comping the desserts, which were pretty good. The restaurant boasts an incredible ambiance, great service, and amazing food.
