Not too good if you arrive for dine-in at least 30 minutes before the closing time. They will not allow you and say they already call to close their kitchen and staff must leave on time, lol! So frustrating. They only offer To-Go orders instead. No choice but to take it.

The food is very delicious, I did not have to wait long, I love the tamarind beef soup with rice, the place is very nice and excellent to visit, it is worth noting that the waiter Karlo Roberto is very attentive and helpful, always very aware of our table and all the tables, congratulations to him, the food in general is very good, delicious and hot, very well attended, totally recommended this place and now with the rodeo activities it is super close to share and enjoy.

Ordered for pick up, the Laing cost me $12. I was disappointed coz the container was small and I just got half a container (see photo) Even the Karekare is bland, mostly just soup, and the container is not full as well, for $18. Not happy at all.

We ordered a lot of options from the menu for the family. Everything was good except for the sisig they don’t serve with egg. We’ve asked the waitress if they had egg and she’s she said that they do not serve egg in the restaurant I’ve never had it without it, but it was the worst I’ve ever had. We tried it again when we got home with egg in it and some calamansi and it was nasty. We gave it to our dog to eat. The waitress was not that nice of a person she was not very helpful. I don’t recommend people going there till they change some of the stuff on the menu and the waitress need some training on her attitude that helped us.

We always look fwd to our visits here after a long drive for hospital appointments. Our order is the same everytime, bulalo, pakbet. This time though, the pakbet was not good at all, eggplant was pale, sauce was runny, meat they used was stale, like they used leftovers, there were 2 pieces of shrimp. The bulalo, same, leftover beef not fresh at all and had a snell as well. We felt like the place is going down, very low quality food and not as clean. Server was friendly and he told the kitchen about our feedback on the food. Still paid in full. You guys might be closing down soon if this continues...makes me sad. We won't be going back soon, sooo dissappointed.

One of the best filipino restaurants I’ve ever been to. Love their sinigang and pork sisig. Their buko pandan was very refreshing. The staff were nice. Would definitely come back if I go to houston again.

was excited to have some deep fried chicken as we enjoyed the location in Vegas, so we drove down to H town from the big D, right away noticed it shared a location? we ordered the same dishes after a very long wait sitting as the servers seemed to pass by but gave us NO attention... finally got the order in and when it came we looked at each other like What Is This, the dishes looked awful, my ckn was barely cooked and soaked in grease, the skewers were almost all fat, the soup was lacking meat and temp.... tried to get the attn of any server but we sat and sat and sat :( when our server finally came over we just said to pack everything up and bring the bill... we took all back home and cooked it as it should have been from the start... I do not know what the problem is at this location but obviously the owner/mgt does not care about keeping the tradition/reputation for quality and cust svc??? Obviously this was a wasted trip and will NOT be made again!!!

I’ve been a regular customer at Max’s for years but recently I’ve noticed a decline in the quality of the food. The dishes I ordered last time tasted noticeably different, and not in a good way. The flavors seem off, and the overall freshness of the ingredients doesn’t match what I’ve come to expect from this place. It’s disappointing because I’ve always enjoyed dining here, but the last few visits have left me wanting more. I hope the restaurant can get back to its previous standards.

I ordered Bulalo today Nov 8, 2024 @ 5:30pm for take out. I was surprised when i reach home and open it. The meat was disgusting. Looks like left over brisket sliced in square and the whole knee bone. I know what is Bulalo. The bone was so big that is as almost as big of my elbow🥹 The cravings turns into disappointment. If i coulf just come back and returned it i would but when i called them no one answering. Together with my order was pakbet and whole whole chicken.

Came in around 7:25PM on a random Saturday, online it says they close at 9:00PM but their door sign says 8:00PM. Nonetheless, we didn't feel rushed or anything, Ate Nancy, our server was very kind and made sure to note that we got in just in time and that we aren't being rushed by the kitchen staff nor by her, so kudos to you Ate Nancy! The food was just okay, we had the Bicol Express, just based off of my preference it needs more spice. We also had the kare-kare and it was more on the sauce and barely any meat. We also ordered the Miki Bihon and it was flavorless, it needs a bit more seasonings, truly. Lastly, the sisig it was okay. We also ordered the pork barbecue which was the most spectacular thing on their menu.

I enjoyed the pork skewers and rice noodles/egg noodles mix. The bulaklak was crispy and served with a nice size side of vinegar. The pork skewers were a little fatty but overall such an intense but inviting flavor.

Food, waiting service, and atmosphere are great. I’m giving 2 stars because we’ve been regulars for almost 3 years and no one picks up the phone, ever. We like to do pickup orders but it’s impossible to order on the phone. We would order online, but most of the time it never works, and a lot of the times the food item we want is missing so we can’t order it, so of course we’ll call. Then they never answer. I call multiple times for 5-10 minutes straight and never get an answer. This happens often. If they just fixed this problem I’d give them 5 stars but to be a regular customer and this be reoccurring problem is extremely frustrating
