A spacious neighborhood bar with good pricingspecials, plenty of TVs, and friendly bar-wait staff. The bar itself is nice and long enough for plenty of patrons even during a pandemic. Outdoor patio on front porch with a couple pool tables in the back.
Bar Esperanto has a peaceful, cozy ambiance. It's a great addition to the Hotel Ylem. I especially enjoyed their serving as hosts of events such as Game of Thrones watch parties and career development panels for the Association for Women in Science Gulf Coast Houston.

This bar is a hidden gem! Located inside Hotel Ylem, Bar Esperanto is a great spot for a happy hour or nightcap. The long tables are perfect for large. The overall ambience exudes casual meeting place. Their liquor selection is decent and I opted for a simple Kettle One vodka soda and a glass of Lamarca Prosecco.
