“In the Village for the afternoon and randomly picked this restaurant for lunch. Was a beautiful day and we were seated at there covered outdoor patio. Greeted by an extremely helpful and knowledgeable waiter. Took his time to help us with the menu as this was our first time there. Hummus is home made fresh and excellent. The palstenian coffee was given to us to try and we normally don't like black coffee. This was so tasty with cardamom. It was not bitter at all. Amazing. Extra bonus for being a local business ??.

The food is served with generous portions and very comfortable atmosphere. A place to go down to that will take you back home to your mothers kitchen.“

I was eating the lamb cubes right off of the skewer, and thought it couldn’t taste any better, when I decided to put it between some Arabic bread and loaded it with fresh tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, turnips, and onions; it was the single best lamb cubes I’ve ever had in my life! “The food was decent, but the real reason im giving this rating is for the servers, some customers were being so rude to them last night and its just over nothing at times, they asked me if id like to rate them and told me to be honest when i do, so here i am. I hope people realize its just food and its not worth it to get angry at minimum wage workers just doing their jobs.

Especially on the weekends when people are drunk and just feel like they own the place.
We all need to be better people.

“My husband and I and our two children visited this Yemeni restaurant today, we are Palestinian and have never tried Yemeni food, we wanted to try something new and we were not disappointed. My husband ordered the grilled fish and it was the star, it was delicious! I had the Mandi chicken and it was so flavorful and tender. The Mandi rice was very good, especially with the tomato sauce and yogurt sauce. They had chicken nuggets and French fries for the kids. We also had the fattoush which I felt was lacking but not bad, it was fresh. Hummus was very good. My favorite part was the complimentary tea, very tasty. Our host and waiter was genuinely kind and attentive.“

My husband and I both ordered the gyro as protein & arabi for the meal. Plentiful! I’m a big fry girl and I actually had to leave a few behind because of how full I got! That is RARE for me lol. But super delicious, sauces are great! (Ask for their spicy creamy one) and great service. We’re patient and willing to answer any questions we may have had. We will make this a spot to stop if we ever find ourselves in Houston!“

“Four stars overall because we have not dine in so we can not comment on the service, but five stars for the food. We have ordered delivery a couple of times and have been pleased with the food and generous portions. The Mixed Grill is a great value for two, plenty of meat and give you the option to order sides at a reduced prize (great idea guys). We usually order the eggplant and/or the humus which are both delicious. They give you plenty of bread which is unusual compared to other Mediterranean restaurants (thank you). Food is safely packed, which is appreciated. Once we dine-in we will comment on the service. Well-done guys.“

“Excellent butcher shop (have never tried the restaurant but need to next time!). I've gotten some different cuts of lamb here in separate occasions, each time it's been fantastic. Much better than the lamb you can find in grocery stores around town. It's incredibly clean and well maintained.“
