About 2 hours after eating a pineapple chicken Curry (around 6pm) I developed extremely painful stabbing stomach pains. They continued worsening through the night to the point I thought I was going to have to go to the ER around 2 in the morning. Nothing was relieving the pain OTC simethicone, etc. Fearing I had contracted food poisoning of some type I took some activated charcoal capsules and finally some ipecac to induce vomiting.
