First time here, loved it.This is Spanish speaking restaurant. I don't think they have many English only customers coming in. When you get there, sit down and they will bring a menu. It will take a while. They will figure out what you want, be patient. It will take a while for chips and salsa, but it's worth it. Your food will take a while, but, sooo good. I wanted some Mexican food while I was passing through so figured I'd stop and try out this place. When I walked in it was kind of uncomfortable because the workers just all stared at me (including the cooks in the back) and I wasn't sure if I was supposed to seat myself or go to the register to order my food... I ordered tacos, basic and simple. The lady seemed to not understand me too good but she figured it out. I got me a canned drink in the fridge and sat down somewhere....read full review

Visiting Houston from Chicago and my friends and I where hungry and Rosie’s was the first place we saw. Not to appealing from the outside but when you walk in it looks way better. I ordered a cheese and beans pupusa, a steak taco, shrimp cocktail and some chips and guacamole. They always say the little neighborhood joints be the ones that have the best food.
