They catered our cy-fair band in Conroe. They came with all the food and it was great! Thanks for supporting our kids! Highly recommend this restaurant.
Food is too salty and portions were small, almost child-sized, for the exorbitant amount charged. You’re basically paying mostly for a plate full of sauce on the pasta dishes. Sal y Pimienta (Food Truck) is a small, family-owned restaurant located in the Memorial City town center, offering a lively atmosphere and a well-staffed kitchen. The menu features a variety of South American and Italian dishes, with customers praising the calamari strips, steak and eggs, crème brûlée, and panna cotta. Many guests also enjoy the steak entrana, which is described as super flavorful, and have noted the good control over the kitchen, maintaining consistent quality over the years. The Chimichurri sauce is highly recommended, often called the best you will ever have, and the four-course dinner menus for $59 are considered a great value. Service is generally attentive, with staff treating customers well and providing great recommendations. While the ambiance is good, some customers find the space a bit cramped. The menu is extensive, offering many options, but some dishes like pizza and salty beans have received mixed reviews. Overall, the restaurant offers reasonable prices and solid food, with many customers eager to return and try more items. The staff, including servers Pepe and Miguel, are frequently praised for their excellent service, making this spot a popular choice for both casual visits and special occasions.
