Spanish Flower — Main St. Location
⭐☆☆☆☆
I really wanted to like Spanish Flower on Main St., but unfortunately my dining experience left a lot to be desired.
It started off promising — our main waiter greeted us kindly and made us feel welcome when we sat down. But after taking our initial order, he completely disappeared and never came back to check on us. We showed up at about 10am and were a party of 5. We had to ask our waiter twice for the breakfast menu, which was unusual. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Spanish Flowers is a restaurant known for its welcoming atmosphere, good food, and friendly service. Visitors often praise the relaxed vibe where they can sit and chat comfortably. The ambiance is inviting, and the restaurant can accommodate different group sizes easily. Many customers enjoy the variety of dishes, including street tacos, horchata, and breakfast options, with some noting the food is flavorful but sometimes lacking heat or spice. The chips and salsa are highly appreciated, and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant is outstanding, with a fresh, odor-free environment.
The service is frequently highlighted as exceptional, especially the bartenders, who are friendly, cheerful, and attentive. One bartender, in particular, made the experience memorable, contributing to a fun night out. Drinks are generally good, although some find the prices a bit high, especially for specialty drinks that come with bottles but no alcohol in the juice.
While most reviews are positive, some mention minor issues such as the awkward bar setup, which makes sitting straight difficult, and a dish like Mole Enchiladas that was dry and lacked flavor. Overall, Spanish Flowers is a popular spot for good food, friendly staff, and a comfortable setting, making it a regular choice for many diners.
