We made reservations for the woodlands location. Arrived earlier than scheduled and they were definitely expecting us. In fact they called to make sure we were coming (red flag #1). When we arrived we were greeted by the lady at the hostess stand and told her we were waiting for the rest of our party. She advised we could be seated early if needed. There was four chairs in the waiting area and all were wet. Not a big deal. Wiped the water and sat down and some sat down outside....read full review
Had a great experience at State Fare! Our server was Breanna and she was great! She was prompt, recommended some gray food options, and kept us laughing throughout our dinner. Had a wonderful experience, we’ll be back
This review is for The Woodlands location in Hughes Landing. I’ve eaten here twice and both times left disappointed with my meal. The first time it was the filet mignon….not the quality I’m used to. Chewy and not flavorful. The second time I had the poke bowl. No flavor at all. H‑E‑B has a much better one with a great sauce in comparison. Did they forget the sauce maybe? Customers can enjoy a variety of drinks, including a smoky old-fashioned cocktail. The service is attentive with fantastic waiters providing outstanding customer service. It is a great place to take family, with amazing breakfast boards, a mimosa flight, deviled eggs, grits, and a breakfast burrito. The dill pickle dip and elote avocado toast are really good. The food can be inconsistent in preparation, but the experience is satisfying with a focus on quality.
