Tamales Doña Tere Reviews
Great food and service, also very clean.
The food is very good just for when you don't want to cook i would have given a 5 but then it would say they're food is better then mine..
Unfortunately, I can't review the food because we didn't buy anything. We were looking for tamales and this place had been recommended. When we arrived we didn't order anything. We were actually looking for a family meal, like a combo with a dozen tamales, beans, rice, etc. to feed a family. That was not offered.

Tamales Doña Tere is known for its excellent food, especially their large tamales and flan. The staff's service is fast, efficient, and friendly. Customers praise the attentive cashiers and waiters, including a person named Karla, who make sure diners have a satisfying experience. The restaurant's facilities are good, though the surrounding area can seem a bit sketchy. Many customers enjoy the flavorful tamales, such as the green pork, red pork, and banana leaf-wrapped big green pork tamales, as well as the dulce tamale. The masa on all tamales is moist and tasty, though some feel there is not much meat for the price. The horchata is refreshing and not too sweet, and daily specials are considered a good value. Overall, it remains a popular spot on Houston's north side for delicious tamales and friendly service.
