“First time visiting and can’t wait to come back. Service and food were outstanding!!!! Every dish is so unique. For starters we had the ARGENTINIAN PROVOLETA, CRISPY PORK BELLY IN PASILLA SAUCE, and Snapper Ceviche. For my main I had the Yellow Crab Curry, which was delicious! Other dishes we had were the Tea Smoked Duck, Argentinian Style Tenderloin, Adobo Snapper, and NIGERIAN SUYA SKEWERS. We were a party of 9 so I know I’m missing some dishes, but let’s just say everyone was raving about how awesome the food was. It was my husband’s birthday and at the end our waiter brought him an array of desserts from all over the world. ❤️5 STARS and then some!“

“I'm so happy it's back. The location is great, and the service was excellent. There was live music and dancing, which was really fun. The food was delicious, well prepared, and served quickly. It can be loud in there, but it doesn't really distract from the vibe.“

“I have family in this town. Knowing my ancestry I was ask to go dine here. Was my second time in Houston but first time to enjoy it properly. Barcelona was no deception. I am often critical of native food overseas. Portions, atmosphere and even (although not tried this time) occasional great surprises; wine pairing is exceptional and from peers feedback, the cocktails did not disappoint either. B (our server) and the management courteous greetings are commendable. In addition, having a Valet P next door is a plus as this area is probably quite expensive to park otherwise. So yeah. I was impressed and annotate it for future visits.“

“Destiny you were the most perfect human being and server that I've ever had the pleasure of being waited on by! The food and especially the drinks SLAP here. 😊 I was missing a nice cigar though.

Parking: Don't try to enter the bar by walking up to the office like we did! Circle around the back to the main entrance!
Kid-friendliness: More like adult beverage friendly!

“Saw Showgirls at Rich's Houston this past weekend, and I can't say enough about how awesome the show was! The host, Marsha Mallow, was hilarious, all the performers were beautiful and talented, and the setting was gorgeous. Highly recommend!“

“I have been living in the area for almost 5 years. I’ve been coming to this location since then, and I’ve never experienced an issue. The food is always fresh every server. I’ve encountered always been very attentive, which I appreciate and I always tell my friends to come join me here whoever I’ve never been here and always love the outcome and the food here. GUNCHO is a wonderful server, she is very patient and again very attentive and I think she deserves a raise. Don’t ever change I love the 90s diner look and the quality of the food tasting.“

“The staff at this hotel bar / restaurant is great! Jose and Martha (who I saw most often during my weeklong stay at the Whitehall hotel) we exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing! Service was quick, drinks were tasty and reasonably priced by hotel standards. The big hitch was closing the tab. The POS system was clearly slowing the team down. It was frustrating seeing a team that's clearly good at what they do being hamstrung by a system that's supposed to support them.“

“Cozy bar separate from restaurant, nestled in the Colombe d'Or hotel. Set up best accomoddates an intimate date night setting or even solo. Servers are accommodating and professional.
If going non-alcoholic, definitely try the penumbra! Esp if you appreciate ginger ?“

“1/12/2025-This is a awesome vibe here. The ambiance is a nice bistro with some crazy art to keep you entertained but the music and lighting sets the mood. I would come back here again and again. I visited here without a reservation and was greeted when I first came in. The staff was nice friendly and attentive. Emma was awesome and recommended some dishes. The burger, half chicken, rice, and sesame butter cookie were awesome and the drinks. I had the voodoo drink. I highly recommended and you won't be disappointed.“
