“1/12/2025-This is a awesome vibe here. The ambiance is a nice bistro with some crazy art to keep you entertained but the music and lighting sets the mood. I would come back here again and again. I visited here without a reservation and was greeted when I first came in. The staff was nice friendly and attentive. Emma was awesome and recommended some dishes. The burger, half chicken, rice, and sesame butter cookie were awesome and the drinks. I had the voodoo drink. I highly recommended and you won't be disappointed.“

“I made a reservation for the burlesque show and I was NOT disappointed. The entire staff was super kind and happy to answer all of my questions. The food was amazing. The staff was incredibly kind and they were more than happy to laugh and joke with us. The seating was comfortable and perfectly placed to see the show. I will definitely be going back to try out there pool side reservations as well.“

“The staff at this hotel bar / restaurant is great! Jose and Martha (who I saw most often during my weeklong stay at the Whitehall hotel) we exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing! Service was quick, drinks were tasty and reasonably priced by hotel standards. The big hitch was closing the tab. The POS system was clearly slowing the team down. It was frustrating seeing a team that's clearly good at what they do being hamstrung by a system that's supposed to support them.“

“Visiting Houston from Denver and decided we would give this place a try. Ordered online for pick up. Got there early and waited for my food. Restaurant appeared clean and the staff was very friendly. They let me know the item I ordered online was actually taken off the menu and they weren't sure why it was still showing up online, but he said he went ahead and told the chef to make it for me. Food tasted great and pricing was very reasonable. Would recommend this restaurant.“

“I've been dining at La Columbe D'or since 1985 and been through its many changes. It is still THE go to place for a quiet romantic dinner or lunch. Its the kind of place where manners still matter and you can have a conversation without having to yell at each other. The menu is a little smaller than it used to be but they execute what is on the menu very very well. There is simply no other place like it in the city and for the quality, the prices are very reasonable. It is iconic and historic and a must try.“
