“1/12/2025-This is a awesome vibe here. The ambiance is a nice bistro with some crazy art to keep you entertained but the music and lighting sets the mood. I would come back here again and again. I visited here without a reservation and was greeted when I first came in. The staff was nice friendly and attentive. Emma was awesome and recommended some dishes. The burger, half chicken, rice, and sesame butter cookie were awesome and the drinks. I had the voodoo drink. I highly recommended and you won't be disappointed.“

“I have family in this town. Knowing my ancestry I was ask to go dine here. Was my second time in Houston but first time to enjoy it properly. Barcelona was no deception. I am often critical of native food overseas. Portions, atmosphere and even (although not tried this time) occasional great surprises; wine pairing is exceptional and from peers feedback, the cocktails did not disappoint either. B (our server) and the management courteous greetings are commendable. In addition, having a Valet P next door is a plus as this area is probably quite expensive to park otherwise. So yeah. I was impressed and annotate it for future visits.“

“Cozy bar separate from restaurant, nestled in the Colombe d'Or hotel. Set up best accomoddates an intimate date night setting or even solo. Servers are accommodating and professional.

If going non-alcoholic, definitely try the penumbra! Esp if you appreciate ginger ?“

“I went there this past Sunday night. First time and definite won’t be my last. Their Black Ink Paella reminds me of my time in Spain. Love it.“

“Julep offers some of the most amazing & unique cocktails! Their whiskey selection is incredible and the ambiance is perfect for a date night or fun time with friends. Ample parking and valet available. We were not able to try their food as we were told the kitchen is closed on Sundays - however, this seems like a spot mostly for cocktails anyways. I would definitely go back so continue drinking my way through their extensive cocktail list.“

“I went on a Saturday evening for a drink and a meal. The staff were attentive and very friendly, service was excellent. There was a burlesque floor show and that was outstanding and very professional. Lovely people all. I highly recommend Montrose Country Club and Spill The Tease burlesque for anyone.“

“The staff at this hotel bar / restaurant is great! Jose and Martha (who I saw most often during my weeklong stay at the Whitehall hotel) we exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing! Service was quick, drinks were tasty and reasonably priced by hotel standards. The big hitch was closing the tab. The POS system was clearly slowing the team down. It was frustrating seeing a team that's clearly good at what they do being hamstrung by a system that's supposed to support them.“

Eline and Ashley were our servers and they were both friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed.
