I go here on special occasions. The food and service is exceptional. I am lucky to live close by to this amazing restaurant and it is one of the few places in Texas that I have enjoyed having steak at. There are lots of overrated steak houses these days, but this place walks the walk.
Such a wonderful experience! The salad bar offered an amazing variety of fresh options, and the cheese bread was absolutely heavenly. The attentive service and delicious food made the evening feel really special.
I have been eating at the Taste of Texas for over 30 years and tonight my daughter's 18th birthday was wrecked by a racist bigot of manager. The apparently the owner of the Taste of Texas has decided to remove the pepper grinders from the tables and we enjoy fresh ground pepper in our steaks. We mentioned this to the manager and he indicated that this was a decision made by the owner.
