We tried 7 different dishes for dinner it was amazing, the corn from Tlaxcala was so good
Very delicious unique food. Husband and I were celebrating our 15 year anniversary and loved the service and food. The flavors transport you to a another time when corn was king. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
Love the dedication to the traditional masa making & commitment to preserving these beautiful corn varietals. Excellent food, superb service.

Tatemó is a unique and intimate dining experience in Houston. From the moment guests arrive, they will feel like they are the only customer in the building. The chefs' attention to detail is evident in every dish, with standouts like the Gordita, Enmolada, and Postre de Temporada. The tasting menu offers a thoughtful experience that reflects careful sourcing and artistry, with a focus on quality over quantity. While the menu changes daily and accommodates dietary restrictions, the eight courses come at a price of $170 per person. Although some dishes may be underseasoned and portion sizes can feel restrictive, the flavors are phenomenal and inventive with amazing combinations of ingredients. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, making it easy to have a conversation. Tatemó is a Michelin-starred gem with just 18 seats and a bring-your-own-wine policy, adding to its charm. Overall, this hidden gem offers a unique dining experience that leaves a lasting impression, despite some guests questioning its current ratings.
