With generous portions and reasonable prices, this restaurant offers great value. The Fried Seafood Platter and the Dos Platter with Fried Catfish and Fried Shrimp are outstanding. Shoestring onions rival those from steakhouses with how fresh, crisp, and flavorful they are. The catfish and shrimp are very fresh tasting with a thin batter and cooked to perfection. Beignets are tasty and very unique, crisp and slightly puffy on the outside, but flaky underneath very soft / tender. During peak season, prepare to wait 30 min - 1 hour, very worth it. Shrimp is in the 15 dollar range and flavor wise was on point.
