“I don’t even know how to begin describing what a fantastic job Amedeo’s did catering our Kingwood High School Varsity Football banquet! Rhonda, the catering manager, worked closely with me on planning the menu and provided options to help us stay within our budget. She paid special attention to what I was looking for regarding the overall dining experience I wanted for our nearly 250 guests at the Nathaniel center. She asked for the banquet agenda and specifics on when, what and how we wanted the food service to be carried out throughout the course of the evening. She said to me during our planning, “We want to handle everything for you, so you can be guest at your own party.” And she and the staff did exactly that! Everything happened exactly on cue, with me not having to even think about it! It was just as she promised, and I was able to relax and enjoy the evening without a single worry! The staff was attentive and friendly to everyone and truly cared about making it a perfect dining experience for every single guest. They looked genuine happy to be there with us for this special night. The food was excellent and everything was hot and ready to serve exactly on time. I 100% recommend Amedeo’s catering. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and told to sit where we’d like. We were helped soon after we sat down ordering some drinks and an appetizer. We decided to split roll #25 and get the orange chicken as well that came with fried rice. I was highly impressed by the food, it was so fresh, flavorful and delicious! Let me just say Jasmine is such a great person! She was always smiling, checking on us constantly and even gave a chopstick device to help him use the chopsticks better lol. She was attentive, kind, and helpful. She talked to us for a bit after we had finished our meal and she is truly a gem of a person. “I am a big fan of Peking duck, so when I heard it was good here, I had to try it. I must admit, the duck skin here is top-notch—crispy and melts in your mouth. The accompanying pancakes are plentiful, and the meat is fragrant, served with a side of soup. Additionally, I ordered the Basil Eggplant, Spicy and Crispy Chicken, and Beef Noodles. Nothing compares with Chuy’s authentic Southwestern American Mexican food including New Mexico cuisine’s influence, Hatch green chili salsa and green chili rice. Add to this their version of Tex-Mex, i.e. cheese enchiladas, queso, fajitas and most importantly their Chili con carne (Chuy’s Tex-Mex). Our server could have been more attentive we felt like we were searching for him and he definitely forgot about our drink at one point but the manager made up for that completely. She was so thoughtful! Our son was noticeably upset at one point and she brought us a free fruit cup! That cheered him right up. Overall a very enjoyable experience and we will be visiting again.
