I have driven to the Hulen St. Unrefined location for 4 years to order my nephews’s special corn and gluten free vanilla cake with strawberry frosting for his birthday. My sister told me Cookies, Crust and Crumb bakery was now owned by Unrefined and it was in Hurst and much closer for me. Ordering was a breeze and the cake was the best one we’ve had. For some backstory, I am obsessed with this place’s cinnamon rolls. They’re the besttttt cinnamon rolls. You guys know how hard it is trying to find a good gluten free cinnamon roll so when I found this places I became obsessed with it.

As someone with a gluten allergy, finding a bakery that creates delicious gluten-free desserts can be difficult, but this bakery absolutely exceeded my expectations! They made my birthday cake, and not only was it beautiful, it tasted incredible. So many gluten-free desserts can be dry or crumbly, but this cake was moist, flavorful, and everyone at the party loved it (even those who aren't gluten-free!).
