“We ordered an 8" round red velvet cake for my son's 40th birthday on a short 2-day notice and said they didn't need to do anything fancy with the icing. I spoke with Sharon when I placed the order, and she was very helpful and kind. She said they would get it done with no problem; it was quite a relief. The day I picked it up, the staff was friendly, and the store was clean and cute. We were so pleased with the way it looked; they added extra touches to the icing. Everyone loved the cake; it was delicious and very moist. Next time, we may need a bigger cake. :-) We will be buying all of our (Fort Worth family) cakes from Creative Memories from now on and will definitely be recommending them. Wish we had Creative Memories in Houston.“

“Current manager at Southlake store is super friendly. I always go in & just get one cupcake since I love desserts, and she always remembers me! Even has offered to make a cupcake for me if not available. I love frosting, particularly buttercream, so the birthday surprise / funfetti cupcake with the heap of frosting is awesome. Also like the strawberry, lemon & white midnight magic and the specialty chocolate truffle with white frosting. I do prefer some flavors to others but definitely appreciate the friendly staff and that the cupcakes taste moist! I definitely prefer the taste and flavors here to Nothing Bundt Cakes.“
“My mom and I go here at least twice a month, and every time the service is excellent. They are always so nice and make sure our ice cream is packed with a lot of mix-ins. They remember our orders too since we go in so often. We wanted to get the ice cream cupcakes for my twin nieces' birthday, but one of the workers told us they no longer offer those. The owner met with us at both the first and final meetings, she’s very straight forward and accommodating.In addition to the smaller two tiered cake (lemon cake with raspberry filling cream cheese icing), we got salted caramel apple pies to represent my husband was from New Hampshire and Buckeyes to represent that I was from Ohio. The buckeyes were something new for them…and they NAILED it! “Went here a while ago and I was in love with this place! Their ice creams are just amazing! We ordered their signature Oreo Overload which had vanilla ice cream, oreos, chocolate chips, and chocolate fudge! They mix it in front of you and then serve it in a waffle bowl or a simple bowl. The ice cream was just so good! Makes me want to go back! The service was quick and they made sure to mix the creations separately for people with allergies! So make sure to inform them if you have any! Definitely going back!“
“This bakery is used by a member of the Dallas chapter of DAR. My daughter raved about the cakes at their meetings and for her birthday, she asked if we could have a marble cake from Texas Star. I've never bought a birthday cake in my life, so I figured it was time. So for my little girls 38th birthday, she finally got a bought cake! I told them to make it an Easter decorated marble cake. Festive and fun. It was all we hoped it would be. Tons of buttercream icing and super moist, delicious cake. I made the long trek to pick it up (about 50 miles) and it was ready as promised. They were slammed because it was the Saturday before Easter and the staff was friendly and helpful with all the people showing up to get all the Easter goodies! Thanks Texas Star!“
