Neighborhood Cafe

Had breakfast at the neighborhood café a couple of days ago, it was delicious. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs and it was definitely a homemade chicken fried steak and it was so delicious that I ate every bite of it! We also tried the cheese omelette which was perfectly seasoned and delicious. The neighborhood café is definitely worth a try for some home cooking.

Im thinking the kids who say this is a 50+ place don't appreciate basic diner food and also don't know what a 50 year old looks like. (Jennifer Anniston, anyone?) The crowd appears more 70+ to me, but don't let that stop you! The coffee is decent. The food is really good. Not life-altering or transcendent but well made and tasty. Name says it all. Had breakfast of biscuits and gravy with a side order of bacon. Biscuits and gravy were good, bacon was 4 slices of thin sliced cooked just the way I like them (waitress asked how I wanted them). Very good, simple breakfast done right. If you want fancy menus and decor go elsewhere. If you want a basic breakfast in a timely fashion, go here. Absolutely would return when in area.
