“Party of 5 on a Friday. Fun place to relax and talk with friends. Food was good (but warm only), and still relatively inexpensive. Service was not very quick (we were told it was a busier day than expected). By the time our order arrived, we were missing several of our sides. We were told they were out of those sides, and our server left without saying anything more. We had to go back to the kitchen and ask about the missing sides, they re-iterated they were out, but never offered us a substitute until we asked about getting something to replace what we had already paid for (you pay up-front and it is cash only)...those sides took almost 10minutes more to arrive since we were put back at the end of the order line... This was our first time at Criders in years, and if we didn't know they had done better in the past, this might have been our last time to visit...we are hoping this was just a glitch and they will be more proactive with customers in the future.“

“I've been here for 3 days now and so far loving it. Plan on staying at least a year, but the people are welcoming, and the owners are good folks. I've met up with Clancy a few times over the last 5 years, and the timing was just right to stay for a while! He hasn't changed much from the first meeting. He's just a great guy with a big heart. Works waaaay too hard. William assists in just about everything from helping you settle into grading spots flat and probably can handle all the maintenance and most needs of the park. They all strive to improve every day I've been here they are hard at work but take time to chat during much needed breaks. As a former employee of parks in Colorado, I know it is a tough job keeping an RV Park together. I think the Clancy, Renée, and William team are on the target and probably getting better with every challenge. I don't understand the low rating except that most negatives are from nearly 6-10 years ago before this team grabbed the reins for themselves. This is my 5th long term Park in 3 states, 3rd in the TX Hill Country area, and it is my favorite location by far. Rates are reasonable, and rules are standard for parks. It is by far the quietest. There are gravel spots but no dirt or mud mess like some parks without paved pads. There are many table areas with concrete pads, though. Only 1 or 2, maybe with a table on flat gravel. Hope this helps interest you in coming for a stay. If you want peace and quiet and are interested in having good people for neighbors, it's worth a look for sure! I may never leave!“

We drove to Kerville, (25 miles out of our way), to try the Cafe. We have told several people about it. Guess what? They already loved the place. Are we the last to discover this heavenly restaurant? None of the people we mentioned the restaurant to live in Kerrville. They all drive a distance to eat there!“

“Just wanna give a shout out to the One employee working this morning Monday, November 2, 2025. We are traveling through Kerrville and needed more than motel coffee and PAX was just down the street, however they were left with one employee to open. I just wanna say that he did it well and I hope the owner recognizes that and gives him some help. It's truly hard to open any business with one employee so I'm grateful for a good cup this morning instead of hotel coffee.“
